Free Guides To Find Perfect Prom Shoes

You've spent countless hours searching for the perfect prom dress, and finally found it. Now you need to find the perfect shoe to go with your dress. But it doesn't have to be hard! All you need to know is a few fashion tricks, and the perfect prom shoe will be yours.
The most important thing to keep in mind is comfort. It doesn't matter how amazing and fantastic the shoe that you pick is - if you are unable to walk by the end of the night, it was the wrong one! How can you look at your best if your feet feel like they are about to fall off?
High heels are a common style of shoe, and for good reason - they make your legs look longer and slimmer and force you to keep good posture. But you don't need to go ridiculous with the heel height. Two-inch heels are more than enough to give the desired effect while saving your poor feet.

If you are used to them, strapped dress sandals are quite popular and can be worn with most dresses. But they can be a pain to wear - you may find it more comfortable to choose a dress shoe with an enclosed toe. If you get an enclosed toe, make sure they have a soft, cushioned upper lining (leather is preferable).
Another option for shoes that are extremely comfortable to wear are ballet shoes. Unfortunately they are only suitable with full skirts (they just don't look right with tight fitted dresses).
It probably doesn't need to be said, but do ensure that you pick shoes that are the correct size for you. Shoes that are too big or too small will never feel comfortable, and a shoe that is too big could leave you with blisters or even come off at an embarrassing moment!
Once you have decided on your shoes for the prom, make sure you wear them in before the night. The easiest way to do this is to wear them around the house for an hour or so each day for a week. If you aren't used to the style of shoe you bought, this also gives you a chance to become used to them.
One final tip; it can be difficult to find a colour that matches exactly, so you will have two options. You can try to find a complementary colour (for example, black to go with a dark coloured dress), or if the shoe is the right type you can dye it to match.
If you decide to dye your shoes, remember that dyed items look different indoors compared to outdoors. For example, shoes dyed grey may take on a purple tone outside. There is nothing that can be done to stop this, so be sure to tell your dyer if the event is indoor or outdoor.

Tips on How To Pick The Perfect Wedding Dress

You got proposed to, you picked the caterer, the flowers, the song - all you need is that perfect wedding dress. If you didn't like a single dress you saw, it is time to define what it is that you are looking for. Here are different types of wedding dresses - pick the one that goes best with your style and personality. You should also look for a dress that will be appropriate for the type of wedding you are having. A dress perfect for a beach wedding might not be appropriate for a formal wedding, and vice versa.

Here are different wedding dresses to help you pick the one that is perfect for you:
- Princess Wedding Dresses. Want to look like a princess from a fairy tale on your wedding day? Then search for formal, beautiful dresses that will make you look and feel like a princess on this very special day.
Wedding dress stores, as well as online stores should have plenty of princess style wedding dresses in stock.
- Informal Wedding Dresses. Don't like anything formal, and want to feel comfortable on your wedding day? Pick something beautiful and informal at the same time. You might not even need a typical wedding dress from a wedding store. In addition to shopping at specialty wedding stores, look at department stores and special occasion dresses. You might find something there that is perfect for you.
- Beach Wedding Dresses. If you are throwing a wedding on a beach, or a beach themed wedding, you might want to look for a simple dress, that looks elegant at the same time. Something you can wear with pretty sandals, or as some brides do it, with bare feet. A beach ceremony with ocean as your background - what can be better?
Good luck with picking your dress and enjoy your wedding. At the end of the day, the most important thing is not what you wear, who comes to the wedding, and what kind of food you serve. What really matters are the vows you make and the new life you are starting with your new husband.

Tips on Bra Styles

Different styles of bras have different fits. Beware the convertible bras: while they may sometimes work, it is rare that every possible style will work for your body.
Full Cup / Full Coverage - Designed for support, these bras cover the entire breast.
Half Cup / Demi Cup - These bras cover 75 percent of the breast. This is a sexy cut that increases cleavage, but make sure your breasts are not "cut-off" in the center. Your profile should still be smooth, and if it isn't, you need a larger cup size.

Underwire Bras - These bras give the most support.
Racerback Bras - These bras have a crossover pattern in the back. They can have a front or back clasp, or can simply pull over the head. This is a common style for a sports bra.
Halter-Top Bras - As the name imply, these bras have a strap that loops around the neck, rather than the usual shoulder straps. These bras can increase cleavage, and can be worn with both halter tops and tops with low center coverage.
Backless Bras - While some backless bras literally have only front coverage, generally this refers to bras with extremely low backs, so that many dresses with low backs can be worn without the bra showing.
Strapless Bras - These bras have no straps at all, only the band. Some of these can cover the stomach area as well, and some even cover the body like a leotard. These longer strapless bras tend to stay in place better.
Padded Bras / Push-Up Bras - These bras have extra padding in the cups in order to give the illusion of a larger breast and/or to increase the cleavage. The padding can be made of the same material as the bra, foam, or gel. Gel is becoming more popular because of its more natural look. In some bras, the padding is removable.
Décolleté - These bras are lower cut than a demi bra, allowing you to wear something even lower cut without revealing your bra.
Light-Support Bras - These bras have no underwire. While you may be tempted to wear one to an all-day event, if you are larger than an A cup, you may not be getting the support you need. A properly fitted bra will be comfortable whether or not it has underwire.
Sports Bra - These bras are designed to minimize bouncing during athletic activity. While some inexpensive varieties do this by squishing your breasts, it is better to find on that is sized by cup sizes (as opposed to small, medium, and large) and get fitted as you would with a regular bra. Over the long term, this will increase your comfort.
Nursing Bras - For the convenience of nursing mothers, these bras have a snap on each of the shoulder straps, so she can easily remove them to feed the baby without taking off the entire bra. Generally, nursing bras are full-coverage for the added support a new mother needs.
Now you can order all your intimate apparel with confidence! So next time you find the perfect little black dress, you can be sure you will look your best.

Tips on Proper Bra Sizing

Most women do not wear the correct bra size. With monthly water retention cycles, dieting, and general aging, it also should not be assumed that the size you were two years ago is the same size you are today (or that a bra can be worn that long, for that matter). Even a change of 5 pounds can change your bra size. This guide will help you to properly measure your bust, so that you can find the size for you.
While most shops will have a salesperson to assist you in proper measurements, in order to buy sexy lingerie from a catalog, it is important to know your size.

How To Know If Your Current Bra Does Not Fit
The back rides up. This may mean that the cups are too small, or the band is too tight. The front of the band is too tight to get a finger under it. This means you need a larger band.
The bra cups should be entirely filled, or you may need a smaller cup. If, on the other hand, the cups are overflowing, you may need a larger cup or a different style of bra.
If the underwire digs in, you may need a larger cup size. (Or your bra could just be very old. In either case, it's time to replace it.) This could also be an indication that the side wings of the bra are not large enough.
Proper Measurements
First, you will need three measurements: under bust, upper bust, and full bust. For under the bust, measure directly under your bust. With all measurements, hold the tape secure but not too tight. For the upper bust, measure above the bust and below the arms.
If the difference between the under and upper bust is less than two inches, the under bust is your band size (round up to nearest even number). If the difference is more than two inches, add 2-3" to the under bust measurement to get an even number and use this as your band size. For the full bust, measure around a fullest part of your breast. Make sure the tape is secure around the back.
Your cup size is determined by your full bust measurement - your upper bust measurement. If the difference is less than 1", you are a AA, 1" is an A, 2" is a B, 3" is a C, 4" is a D, 5" is a DD (or an E), etc.
Beyond Measurements
Of course, your measurements are just the beginning. There are other things to keep in mind when looking for a comfortable, yet sexy bra.
When trying on different bras, make sure that the area in between the two cups actually comes into contact with your chest. Do not make the straps support your breast alone! This will be very uncomfortable over long periods of time, the bra will wear out quickly, and the pressure on the straps can cause back problems.
If you are finding the band sizes to differ for a different brand, you may also need to change your cup size. Generally, as you decrease the band size, you will need to increase your cup size, while a larger band will call for a smaller cup.

The Basics of Anti-Aging Skin Care

The very first question most people have when exploring the realm of anti-aging skin care is, “What skin rejuvenation products have been proven to be effective”? Accurate information regarding the multitude of anti-aging treatments flooding the marketplace is the best way to make informed decisions for developing your own skin rejuvenation regime which incorporates the anti-aging skin care techniques, strategies and treatments that best address your personal aging skin issues.

The basics of effective skin rejuvenation begin with the facts on anti-aging skin care treatments. There are several active ingredients that have been clinically proven to be effective skin rejuvenators. One of the most effective treatments is vitamin A derivatives such a retinol or retinyl palmitate. The Retin A or Renova vitamin A treatments are the strongest although the most irritating treatments of the vitamin A options and are only available by prescription. If your skin needs major rejuvenation attention, ask your Doctor if you are a candidate for the prescription vitamin A treatment of Retin A or Renova.
If not, including one of the other retinol alternatives in your skin care routine is an excellent strategy. The concentration of over-the-counter retinol products can range up to 1%. The basic rule of thumb is, the higher the concentration, the stronger the treatment. Be forewarned though, read the directions carefully because the stronger retinol products can be quite irritating to the skin. Starting slow and gradually working your way up to higher concentrations will allow you skin to adjust to the treatments better. The vitamin A derivative, Retinyl Palmitate, is the less irritating of the Vitamin A options and is considered to have quite effective rejuvenating qualities.
The next most beneficial anti-aging skin rejuvenation treatment is a chemical
exfoliant such as an alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA) or beta hydroxyl acid (BHA) product. The most popular of these acids is an AHA glycolic acid. Glycolic acid should be use in concentrations of 8% to 15% depending on your skin’s sensitivity. Start out with a lower concentration and gradually move up to a 10% then 15% concentration depending on your skin’s tolerance in order to avoid irritation.
The last consideration is including an antioxidant to contain the skin damaging free radicals as well as to encourage overall skin repair. Products containing Vitamin C Ester, Spin Trap, or CoQ10 are all good options to explore. Then, of course, there are other viable anti-aging treatments which can be incorporated into your regime depending on your particular skin rejuvenation needs which include DMAE, Kinerase or Kinetin, and GHK Copper Peptides
. Finally, the most critical and essential aspect to any successful skin rejuvenation regime is sunscreen, at least once a day, each and every day!

Free 10 Tips To Ensure A Successful Honeymoon

The perfect Honeymoon, like any other successful event requires a whole lot of homework and research to ensure that it is a great success. It is considered a bit out of date to keep the honeymoon as a surprise for the bride and although many grooms still practise this, many do not. Allowing the bride to participate in the honeymoon decision making, ensures that both, bride and groom are comfortable and happy with the destination and resort chosen.
Here are 10 tips to ensure that your honeymoon is a huge success.

1. Discuss the destination. He might want an island with sun, ocean and palm trees with loads of relaxation while she might want Kenya with bush and wildlife and safari. Choose a destination that caters for both. Example, you could choose three nights safari in Kenya and then move to a resort along the coast where you can relax on the white sand, ocean in front of you, sipping cocktails. This way, you both get what you want and you’re both happy.
2. Check low season specials for the destination that you decide upon. Example - If you are getting married in May, highly recommended to check that your chosen destination is NOT having its peak period in May because this will mean paying almost double to what you would pay in low season. Check honeymoon specials offered for your destination like discounts for brides, fruit baskets, champagne, room upgrades and sometimes gifts from the resort or a free day tour.
3. Decide on a budget and stick to it. This will ensure that there is no huge debt when you return from your honeymoon. Not a good way to start out together. Try to book a package where everything is included prior to departure. Example - make sure that flights, taxes, transfers, accommodation, all meals, all drinks and even a tour or two are all included. This ensures that you both know exactly how much you’re spending and there are no surprises. The ONLY extras will be those that you both decide upon once there. Discuss the spending money and do not exceed it. Or, at least try not to.
4. Decide on a honeymoon specialist to help you with the organising. A company that is experienced in this field will be able to give you all the tips you need to save money and of course, the very best advice on the destination chosen. They will provide you with country information, health requirements, visa and passport requirements and these are all extremely important.
5. Ask the consultant for three options and give her your budget so that she immediately knows which resorts she can put forward. If you have any concerns, discuss them with the consultant. Highlight your requirements - example, you would like fully inclusive options if they are available for your budget, you would like a room closest to the ocean or a safari tent close to bathroom facilities etc. Discuss optional tours available for your chosen destination and ask for excursion lists available for the resorts.
6. If you would like to arrange something really special and romantic as a surprise for your spouse, like a beautiful private sunset dinner on the beach, take your consultants email address and email her about your idea. She can then make the arrangements for you.
7. Once you have your quotes and you’ve decided on your resort, ensure that you understand every part of the quotation laid out for you. Does it include flights, AIRPORT TAXES, a pick up from the airport when you arrive at your chosen destination, does it include all meals, drinks and tours. Exactly how many nights does the quotation state. Is the room category suitable and does it include a double/queen or king size bed. Check the payment cut off date because if you pay months in advance, you could qualify for a discount.
8. You can request little extras for the night that you arrive. Example, flowers in the room, rose petals strewn all over the room, bubble bath and candles in the bathroom and whatever you would like. A great consultant will take care of your requests.
9. Make sure that any medication required is packed. Sometimes it is difficult to buy medication at certain destinations. Any personal things like contact lense liquid, batteries for digital cameras and the like can be very costly in other countries. MAKE SURE THAT ALL YOUR TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION is checked and is in a safe place.
10. Pack a light bag that you can take on board with you which must be filled with anything that the two of you might need for the first night together – Just in case luggage goes astray. Take an empty suit case with you for all those great goodies that you plan on buying......and most of all......RELAX, ENJOY and CREATE WONDERFUL HONEYMOON MEMORIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Free 3 Deadly Skin Care Myths

Your skin is one of the most important components to beauty. Clean, young, vibrant looking skin can increase a woman and man’s attractiveness ten fold. The tricky part is there are hundreds of myths out there that can destroy the beauty of your skin.
Are any of those myths having an effect on your skin?
Here are 3 myths that could have a deadly effect on the beauty of your skin, and how to overcome them to create and keep beautiful skin.

1. Wearing Sunscreen The concept of using sunscreen to protect your skin from the harmful sun is good. However, the problem is that most sunscreens contain active ingredients which are harmful chemicals. Depending on the sunscreen, the chemicals may include Benzophenones, PABA and PABA esters, Cinnamates, Salicylates, Digalloyl trioleate, Menthyl anthranilate and Avobenzone. The Environmental Working Group found 84% of sunscreens are harmful to consumers.
Solution: A surprisingly good natural sun block comes from broccoli extract. It has been found to produce a matrix of protective enzymes that defend against damage from UV exposure.

2. Buying the Best Smelling, Best Looking Skin Lotions Everyone loves shopping at the mall and smelling skin lotions. In fact, the smell and look of a lotion are the biggest reasons people buy it. Unfortunately, the smell and look in most products are created artificially. And when it’s created artificially, it is harmful to your skin. It may make your skin feel moist, but on the cellular level it is speeding up the aging process.
Solution: Look for lotions that have all natural, or even better, all organic fragrances and coloring.

3. Using Soapy Soap After watching Dove Soap commercials you can’t help but want to use soaps to lather your body clean. Soaps can do rather the opposite though. They tend to clog your pores due to the ingredients that make the soap a solid. That leads to acne and also takes away the vibrant look on the skin.
Solution: Try to use less harsh and/or organic soaps, and use cleansers on your face more often.
These myths come totally unexpected considering our culture practices them everyday. Being aware of them and creating new healthy habits can have profound effects on aging.
With your skin, the smallest changes begin to make the biggest differences, just as these 3 myths can dramatically impact the beauty of your skin.

The Pillars of Urban:Sean John

The urban community or the hip hop nation is very particular when it comes to clothing. Style and fashion are what the nation is built upon, which is why the community is very specific with fashion that pertains to clothing lines. Now there’s a lot of clothing lines that can provide a way to be included on the growing community of the urban nation, and among those many clothing lines are the sean john clothing lines. The sean john is a clothing line that is well respected as the number one clothing line when it comes to urban and hip hop community. It has helped us discover our true nature with its designs of clothing lines. The sean john is a clothing line that was founded in 1998 by the hip hop mogul himself, Sean Combs also know as Diddy.

Apart from being an American record producer, CEO, actor, and rapper, Sean Combs is also a talented clothing designer whom designed the sean john clothing line. The name sean john was derived from Sean Combs first name which is Sean and second name which is John. Many respectable and renowned personalities have represented the sean john such as rappers T.I., Fabolous, The Game, basketball star Dwyane Wade, and models Tyson Beckford and Kevin Navayne, and Sean Combs himself have made the sean john popular. And on 2006, the sean john also released its first ever fragrance for men called the Unforgivable that was manufactured by Estée Lauder, one of the world's leading manufacturers and marketers of skin care, cosmetics, perfume and hair care products.
Although the sean john clothing line is very popular among the urban and hip hop community, it still suffered some allegations. In October 2003 P. Diddy was under intense media attention for using sweatshop labor to produce the sean john clothing line. Among the accusations, originally put forth by the National Labor Committee (NLC), workers were subjected to body searches, fired if pregnant and paid sweatshop wages. Diddy responded to the BBC that there would be a "zero tolerance" investigation at his company, Sean John. He stated to a group of reporters "I'm as pro-worker as they get." In late 2006, after allegations of raccoon dog fur being used in two styles of jackets, sean john, together with Macy's, pulled all of the garments from the department stores where this product was shipped. Even though sean john experienced such accusations, it still stands as the top most popular urban clothing line among the urban community

The History of Welly Boots

Arthur Wellesley, the first Duke of Wellington, instructed his shoemaker, Hoby of St. James' Street, London, to modify the Hessian 18th century boot. This new boot was made of calfskin leather and must have been a transformation on previous Hessian boot. It would have been hardwearing, comfortable, lighter and probably treated with wax to help make it waterproof. The Duke of Wellington soon realised the advantage of better footwear for his troops and then the ball was rolling. The Wellington boot then played a pivotal role in history; the Battle of Waterloo, the American War of Independence and latterly in both World Wars. Such was the
significance of his design they were worn at the Duke's funeral cortege, and the name Wellington boot was born.

In 1852 Hiram Hutchinson met Charles Goodyear, who had invented a vulcanisation process for rubber. Hutchinson bought the patent and set up a company in France which would then serve the country's large rural population. The brand honoured his home country "A L'Aigle - Homage to the Eagle" and went on to become one of the world's leading boot makers. Aigle Wellington boots have become synonymous with quality. In 1856entrepreneur Henry Lee Norris also left America with four experienced rubber boot workers and went to Scotland and found a block of buildings in Edinburgh, known as the Castle Silk Mills. There, they registered the British Rubber Company.

Rubber boots were only produced in limited numbers at the start, with other products taking more of the sales. This quickly changed with the outbreak of the First World War because of the appalling conditions in the trenches. Almost two million Wellington boots were sold
to the army. In the Second Great War the armed forces again used vast quantities of rubber Wellington boots along with waders, particularly in Holland. Farmers and gardeners have
long been accustomed to Welly Boots being an essential part of life and without them life would be interesting! To this end the welly has to be a hard wearing and comfortable, usually made of
natural rubber with good non-slip soles. Unfortunately fashion hasn't left the good old welly alone and it now comes in all different colours and shades, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but problem areas are looming.

Often these types of wellies are made of plastic which, although very colourful, are not so good at lasting the test of time, frequently breaking and cracking on
the creases are as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike. Furthermore if Wellington boots are bought for fashion and not comfort, they may lead to problems with aching limbs etc especially if poor quality in-soles are used in the manufacturing process. The old adage "you get what you pay" for is never truer. Hunter Wellington boots have always been a firm favourite, especially amongst the equestrian fraternity with the need for good in-soles and tighter calf fitting. The range is now quite extensive with different soles and linings fitted to different boots
within their range.

Aigle Wellington boots are generally a darker colour boot than the light green Hunter, but have a reputation as a high quality rubber boot. An example of this would be the Parcours which were designed for walking long distances. The Parcours range, just like other Aigle boots, is hand made by experienced shoemakers. These boots are made from natural rubber, a material that stands up to extreme constraints while at the same time offering perfect comfort. The dual-material sole is flexible while providing shock-absorbing properties, while Parcours Iso is a neoprene lined Wellington providing high insulating performance.
Le Chameau also produce high quality hand made natural rubber Wellington boots with a neoprene lining called the Vierzonord range providing first-rate insulation against the cold and are extremely comfortable. Le Chameau have gained the enviable reputation by
gamekeepers as the 'Rolls Royce' of Wellington boots, being hard wearing, well fitting and light to wear.

The Le Chameau Vierzonord
Extreme was recently awarded best footwear by The Shooting Industry Awards. Le Chameau uses only the latest soles, mid-soles and innovative linings in the manufacture of their top of the range boots. Cotton lined All-Tracks are the competitive market end of the Le Chameau range and very good they are too!

Tips on Acne Scars Treatment

For many people, the embarrassing effects of acne are not temporary. Scarring can leave people with the after-effects of acne for their entire lives. But now, thanks to many technological and medical advances, there is hope for those who suffer from acne scarring.
Thanks to a classification released in 2001, people can now identify which type of scarring they suffer from. Once the scarring is recognized, individuals can then seek specific treatment for their scars.

Rolling Scars - This scarring occurs when the subcutaneous tissue below the surface of the skin becomes tethered. The way to treat this type of scarring is by breaking up the subcutaneous fibrous bands.
Boxcar Scars – These oval-to-round shaped scars have sharp vertical edges. The deeper scars will require full-thickness skin treatment while shallower scars can be treated with skin resurfacing techniques.
Ice Pick Scars - These narrow, sharp scars give the appearance that the skin has been repeatedly punctured by a sharp tool. With this type of scarring, laser resurfacing or dermabrasion are usually the only forms of effective treatment.
Once the classification of scarring is determined, specific treatments should be sought:
Dermal Fillers - Injections into the skin cause the skin of the scars rise, giving your face a more even look. Common fillers include: fat, human collagen, and bovine collagen. This is a temporary solution and will need to be repeated.
Subcutaneous Incision – This procedure is used to break up rolling scars. A needle is used to go underneath the skin and cut the tethering bands. This can cause bruising for up to a week.
Laser Resurfacing - A popular treatment for many skin defects. A laser is used to essentially burn the top layer of skin to a certain depth. As the skin heals, it replaces the burned layer of skin with a fresh layer.

Diamond earrings will frame and light up your face for all the photos to give you a radiant glow.

Platinum 1 Carat Diamond Ring - Product number 4725077

Cool, Contemporary Woman
It’s trickier to get the balance right when your dress is the sort of sleek, elegant creation that characterises the modern wedding. You might choose traditional jewellery to contrast with and soften the contemporary look of your dress. Pearls are a perennial favourite of blushing brides, even before they were worn by the stunning Grace Kelly at her wedding to Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956. Pearls have a timeless elegance and they are available in a huge variety of shapes, colours and sizes. Make a statement with iridescent, blue-grey Tahitian pearls, or add a feminine touch with perfectly round pretty pink ones. Cultured pearls are readily available on the high street and are much more affordable wedding jewellery than natural pearls. Teardrop-shaped pearls are perfect for ladylike drop earrings or pendants, while a string of gorgeous pink pearls is a reliably feminine accessory.

Indie Chick
Not everyone goes for a traditional white wedding; some opt for genuine individuality and self-expression. Whether your unconventional wedding is planned around a medieval banquet style or a funky urban brunch, pearls and diamonds are unlikely to hit the spot. Jewellery stores (and websites) are full of pieces set with coloured stones, and you have the choice between genuine gems and simulated stones. Coloured cubic zirconia looks fabulous, and you’re bound to find just the right shade somewhere. To really make an impact, why not try accessorizing with funky, gothic-y, vintage-y jewellery? Marcasite jewellery or big black beads will add a striking accent to your wedding dress, whether it’s vintage Edwardian, elegant cream column, or a scarlet tea gown.

Celebrity Weddings
Celebrities through the ages have made their wedding days an occasion to make a style statement. Gwen Stefani, one of People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People of 2004, is famed for her unique but immensely successful style. When she married Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, she wore a stunning white and pink John Galliano creation. To accessorize her unusual, asymmetric gown, Gwen wore an elegantly simple white gold and diamond cross, which looked fabulous. The couple recreated their London wedding two weeks later in Los Angeles, where Gwen’s individual style shone out – she wore the same dress, but instead of the discreet cross, she chose a striking heart pendant of pink tourmalines, peridots and diamonds. Madonna is another big star who chose a simple cross as an accent to her Stella McCartney gown, although not many of us could afford to emulate that particular 37 carat Harry Winston piece.

With this ring, I thee wed.
Of course the most important pieces of jewellery on the big day are your engagement and wedding rings. Most couples opt for simple, timeless wedding bands that will look stylish forever (remember you’ll be wearing it every day for the rest of your life) and will perfectly complement the bride’s sparkling engagement ring. It is traditional to wear your engagement ring on the right hand throughout the ceremony, to leave the third finger of your left hand free for the most symbolic piece of jewellery you’ll ever own, your wedding ring.

Free Tips on Hair Removal - All Over Your Body

Today, a male body builder is not the only person into removing hair from all over their body.
Aside from the fact that there are more and more female body builders, there are scores of everyday males and females who remove hair from all over their bodies.
Both in the media and on the street, an obvious example is how many males and females are into head shaving.
At the pool or the beach, and even on neighborhood basketball courts, it's much more common to see males with smooth and hairless chests and backs. And even a few without armpit or leg hair.
And if you think about it, males in the media advertising underwear and fitness equipment don't have any body hair. They have it removed because the current fashion in this society is for males to be hairless.

Some would say it's about time they caught up with the females ...
But the truth is - Today's males ARE more aware of and conscientious about their overall image and removing body hair is a major means of projecting the most positive image. Besides, males have been learning what females have known ever since they started removing their body hair - There are some definite benefits to doing so.
Less body hair means less body heat. Less body heat means less body odor. And we can all support that.
But, perhaps even more of a benefit is the fact that removing body hair helps to define body shape. For females in particular, this applies to their legs. For males, their chests.
That's why when body builders are getting their body ready for competition, they use some type of hair removal.
And because there is such a growing trend towards complete body hair removal these days, we look to body builders and other athletes for information about the best way to accomplish it.
But even for body builders, it hasn't always been easy to connect with the, "perfect", hair removal product or system.

Before the mid 90s, body builders relied mostly on services employing people who became their personal body shaver. These people used a wet razor to remove the hair from the body builder's entire body a few hours before a competition. Then they'd oil them down.
After the mid 90s, body builders began relying on laser hair removal treatments. But that didn't really work out so well.
Partly because the high cost of the treatments took a big chunk of their competition winnings, but mostly because their entire body couldn't be made completely hairless in one session, or even two or three. So there was the time factor.
Then there were the unsavory side effects of swelling, redness and maybe even some blistering, that often kept body builders from competitions, even if they completed the treatments well ahead of time. When people started coming up with scars - that was pretty much it.
So many body builders returned to the tried and true body shaver.
But that's not to say that many body builders haven't experimented with a variety of other alternatives to laser hair removal.
The main laser hair removal alternative methods include: electrolysis, waxing, depilatories, and the old stand by, shaving.
Electrolysis may be the only hair removal method that has been proven to be permanent, and that would seem ideal for a body builder, but -
Because electrolysis involves treating each individual hair follicle, (the skin depression from which the hair emerges), it is also the most time consuming hair removal method. It can take years of weekly or monthly sessions to completely remove all hairs in just one area. And -
Because electrolysis involves inserting a fine wire alongside the hair shaft into the hair follicle through which an electric current and/or strong chemical is sent down to destroy the growth source, (papilla), at the end of the hair, it is also quite painful, even for mighty body builders, even with the use of a topical anesthetic. And -
Electrolysis has some of the worst temporary side effects - Swelling, redness, pinpoint scabbing and skin discoloration, and worse, the possible permanent effects of skin discoloration and scarring.
Add to all of that - Electrolysis is the next most expensive method of hair removal.
So it's easy to see why electrolysis is not a viable laser hair removal alternative for body builders.
A hair removal method that isn't as expensive, can last for 3-8 weeks and would seem viable for body builders is waxing. And because waxing can be done on the entire body in one session, it would seem ideal for a body builder, but -
Waxing basically involves applying a warmed taffy like substance to the hairs in an area, then cloth strips, all of which are allowed a moment to cool and adhere to the hairs and then the strips are very quickly removed, pulling the hairs out by their roots.
Obviously, this hair removal method is pretty painful, so a topical anesthetic is recommended. But that's not the real problem.
The real problem is that while the wax is adhering to the hairs, unfortunately, it's also adhering to the skin. Which means when the cloth strips are yanked off, sometimes so is some of the skin. Understandably, this leads to some swelling, rawness and redness.
Usually, if waxing is done several days ahead of time and they stay out of direct sunlight, a body builder's skin is able to heal for competition. Usually ... There have been some complications such as infected ingrown hairs and other infections that have left scars.
Which means waxing is not the best laser hair removal alternative.
A host of body builders use the hair removal product of a depilatory to remove all of their body hair. It's an inexpensive method that can remove hair on the chest, back, underarms, hair in the bikini line area ONLY and legs quickly, easily and painlessly for a few days, but - You knew there had to be a but -
A depilatory employs strong chemicals that basically, "melt", the hairs above the skin, which can then be wiped from the skin surface.
Problem is, hair and skin are composed of similar materials so that these harsh chemicals that melt the hair can also burn the skin and cause swelling, redness, bumps, ingrown hairs and even scarring.
So using a depilatory hair removal product is still not the best laser hair removal alternative.
Which is why many a body builder is still a body shaver when it comes to inexpensive, reliable and relatively safe hair removal that, when done properly, provides smooth results.
Sure, there's only one way to receive a, "razor burn", and that's by shaving. And it's possible to get scrapes, nicks and cuts, as well as rashes, bumps and ingrown hairs from shaving, but -
These are minor side effects as compared to all other hair removal methods. And they can be covered with make up if need be. (Yes, make up is worn by body builders, when necessary.)
And shaving truly can be done on any part of a body builder's body. In fact, if it happens to be part of their overall presentation, there's really no other way a body builder can achieve a beautiful bald head than by head shaving.
These then are the hair removal experiences and results of body builders from which the everyday person can learn.
Although there is one more method of hair removal for all body shavers, including those into head shaving - It's still shaving, but with an inexpensive tool designed to easily, quickly, and most importantly, safely provide clean, close, and smooth hair removal - All over your body.

Tips on How to Take a Sauna

With the recent popularity of far infrared saunas and steam saunas comes the necessity of learning to use them properly and safely. Listed below are the traditional steps the Finns would take in order to benefit fully from their cleansing saunas. And the Finns should know, as roughly one in five inhabitants possesses a sauna.
It should be stated that one should consult their health care practitioner before embarking on any kind of sauna program, though it's interesting that sauna usage doesn't seem to harm the five million plus Finns and many others who know how to take a sauna correctly.

How to Take a Sauna - Traditional Finnish Style
1. First of all one should disrobe completely before entering. It is also important to remove watches, rings and all other jewelry because the heat of the sauna may distort the metal and burn the flesh that wears it.
Contact lenses and glasses should also be removed, as should dental plates and the like. It is common to wear kick-off sandals to walk into the sauna though these are usually left on the floor and never used when on the benches. In the old country, sandals were not used, but instead a bowel of water is placed inside the sauna on the floor and the feet are dipped in this as one enters.
2. Hikoilu - When entering the sauna for the first stage, it is important to remember that there will be at least two levels of benches - the high bench is always the hotter, and the corner of the room diagonally opposite the stove is always the hottest.
This stage is a dry heat where the outside cares of your life can be discarded and the mind and body refreshed. By tradition hikoilu is invariably a period of silence and lasts about 10 to 20 minutes.
3. Vilvoittelu - When a heavy sweat has been reached - one can hear the perspiration dripping down to the floor - this next phase of "vilvoittelu" has been reached and one can then leave the sauna. Traditionally users have sought a cool place of any kind like a swim in the lake or pool, maybe a cold shower, a roll in the snow, or just a bucket of very cold water. Some people simply sit down in the cool outside air. Instinct will tell you when the correct time comes to return to the hot room, usually when the heartbeat returns to the regular rhythm. Both the heat and the cold produce a slight increase in the rate of the heart beat, but this adjusts quickly to normal in healthy people. If there is a pounding or feeling of faintness, the person must leave the heated room and sit quietly. Drinking water with electrolytes would prove helpful also as well as fresh fruit juice.
4. Vihtominen loylyssa - This is the second session inside the hot sauna room. Traditionally birch twigs were heated in a bowel of warm water near the stove and the bathers sitting on the benches would use them to beat their bodies back and front to release the oil from the leaves and to open the skin's pores.
Perhaps in modern situations, a dry skin brush would prove helpful before one's sauna session to open up the pores and remove dead skin cells. This third stage lasts about 10 minutes followed by a second cooling off before proceeding to the next step.
5. Peseytyminen - One brings a bucket of cold water, soap and scrubbing brushes into the sauna and scrubs the body. Traditionally, people would pair off to scrub each other's backs.
6. Huuhtelu - This is a longer session outside, rolling in the snow, a long swim or a washing with shower or buckets in the coldest water available.
7. Jalkilammittely - A fairly short warm up in the sauna which is usually followed by another short swim, dip or shower. Always finish with the cold, but not for a long exposure.
8. Jaahdyttely ja kuivattelu - This is an air bath for cooling and relaxation. Generally, except in harsh winters, one dries with a towel only the hair and back of the neck; after a good sauna the body can dry itself and adjust naturally to any temperatue without difficulties or harm.
The Finns really know how to take a sauna, you say? You may notice that a sauna is far from being another steam bath. The idea is that enough water is used to keep the hot, dry air from drying eyes and mucous membranes, but this depends upon the host. In Northern Finland, it was a social status symbol to be a man who could take a lot of hot steam and smile about it.

Tips For Choosing The Best Swimwear In Plus Size

As the temperatures rise, you may begin to think of beaches, swimming pools, and the dreaded trip to the department store to pick out swimwear in plus size. More than ever, there are a multitude of different styles, colors
, and fabrics that are available to full figured women. So, how do you begin your search for the right swimwear in plus size for you? Follow these five tips the next time you hit the mall in search of the right bikini, tankini, or one-piece.
Pay For Quality
Let's face it. Swimwear in plus size can be expensive. A good quality suit can set you back $60 to $100. Yes, you can still find cheap swimwear for less than $40, but an inexpensive suit might not fit as well or be as durable. If you will be wearing a bathing suit more than three or four times, invest in one that fits well and is made to last.

Select A Style
Not too long ago, plus size women were limited to less than flattering maillots with matronly attached skirts. This was not a pretty look. These days, you can choose from sexy bikinis, flattering tankinis, sporty one-piece suits, boy shorts, and board shorts. Consider what you will be doing in your bathing suit. If you will be doing lots of swimming, you may want to choose a one piece with ample support and coverage. If sunbathing is more your speed, try the cute bikini.
Choose Your Coverage
Every woman has something about her body that she doesn't especially like. So, don't worry. Look for a style that plays up your best features and camouflages the less than perfect. If you are fair skinned, you may also want to look for additional coverage from the sun.
Consider Shopping Online
If you detest the fluorescent lights in the department store dressing rooms and the pesky saleswomen who are not especially helpful, you may want to shop for swimwear from the privacy of your own home. There are numerous online swimwear retailers that carry a wide range of styles and sizes. Most online stores have great customer service, but make sure you understand the return policy before you buy.
You Are Your Worst Critic
Give yourself a break when trying on swimwear. Not every suit is going to look perfect or even fit. Remember to find a suit that makes you feel comfortable. The last thing you want to be doing on the beach is tugging on your bottoms or sucking in your tummy. Go ahead and strut your stuff with confidence, and everyone else will think that you look great.

Tips To Know About Earrings

It is thought that earrings date back to 3000 BC where they originated in Asia and appeared in 2 formats, one being the simple hoop earring and the other the more elaborate pendant earring. The oldest earrings ever found by archaeologists were discovered in royal graves in Iraq and date back to around 2500 BC. Gold, silver and bronze hoop earrings have also been found dating back to 2000 BC in Crete. In those days it was customary to bury jewellery with the dead. In 16th century in the New Kingdom of ancient Egypt a type of earring called an earplug became fashionable and these fitted snugly into a wide stretched hole in the earlobe. This type of piercing is seen on the sculpture of Tutankhamen.

Poverty in the Dark ages meant that work with precious metals dwindled although some goldsmiths preserved designs that were to later emerge in 7th century Greece. The most popular earrings then there were the pendant type and they often featured a bird or likenesses of the gods Eros and Nike. In the 2nd century during the Roman Empire, earrings became a popular way for rich women to show off their wealth and the use of precious gemstones in the jewellery also became more popular.

During the Middle Ages, earrings became less popular and practical due to the popularity of elaborate hairstyles and headdresses. In fact for a time it was considered immoral for respectable married woman not to have their heads covered in public. In 16th century Italy, hairstyles changed with hair being swept away from the face leaving ears exposed although for another 100 years things stayed the same in England, Spain and France with the wearing of high collars keeping earrings out of fashion. By the 17th century, earrings became very fashionable accessory for the well dressed lady across the whole of Europe. One of the most popular designs of those times were the very large heavy pendant type earrings called girandoles which were great favourites of Queen Victoria.

resistor_earrings.jpg

These earrings required a substantial amount of precious metals and gemstones and so were very heavy, which meant that most people that wore them suffered from elongated earlobes. Although earrings were popular with wealthy people throughout the ages, they were also popular with poorer people who adopted their own styles which were less elaborate and made from less expensive materials. It wasn’t until the 20th century that earrings were completely revolutionised. Different fittings appeared such as screw and clip on as well as those for pierced ears and it also became the norm for women to wear earrings in the day and not just for special occasions.

The 1960’s marked a massive change for the wearing of earrings when designs became completely unrestrained and it became common to see men also wearing earrings although most only usually wear one earring. Women began to collect earrings and with so many designs available the choices were endless. Today the choice is even greater and the popularity of earrings increases with many people now having more than one set of piercings in which to display their jewellery. Modern materials such as titanium and different types of plastics have also become popular in the making of earrings because of their lightness, design possibilities and in the case of titanium because of its hypoallergenic qualities. There is now a never ending choice of different types of earrings from modern trendy cheap and cheerful everyday earrings to the more expensive gold, silver or platinum earrings inlaid with diamonds and other precious gemstones

There are bags such as the Valeri and Belle which are a bit more serious but with a lightness that one can carry throughout the day from the office and perhaps into evening. Though why stick only to one when you can switch to the Viv Metallic or Prune Clutch for the evening and catch everyone's eye at all the parties. The Plum bag is just in time to transition into everyone's fall and winter wardrobes and comes in several fabulous colors.

Lauren Merkin's bags have garnered a loyal following since the company was founded in 2000, and has given its founder the creative outlet she needed after acquiring a MBA. It was through her entrepreneurship and chutzpah that her bags began to be snatched up New York boutiques such as Searle, Steven Alan, Shop and Bergdorf Goodman. From there, her fun and colorful bags went on to grace the pages of Vogue, Marie Claire, InStyle, and Lucky.
Many celebrities add to the pedigree of Lauren Merkin handbags and they have been seen on the stylish arms of Eva Longoria, Jessica Simpson, Reese Witherspoon, and Liv Tyler. Husbands take note - before your lady becomes a Desperate

Tips on Fresh Fruit Facials for Healthy Skin

I was having tea with a friend last week, and we were discussing our extensive skin care regimens. As we were exchanging tips and advice, I realized that I have amassed a virtual recipe box of facials that can be done using fresh fruit
. As there are many of you out there that could benefit from this knowledge, I have decided to share my insights.
One of my favorites is the peach facial, which works very well as a tightening mask. Simply take a ripened peach, and remove the skin and the pit from the center. Place the peach and the whites from a single egg in a blender, and whip until smooth. Pat the mixture onto your face, and allow it to sit there for 30 minutes. Rinse with cold water.

I have found that the apple mask is very good for normal skin. Peel, core, and quarter an apple. Chop the apple in your blender, and add two tablespoons of honey. Blend until smooth. Then remove the mixture from the blender, and refrigerate for approximately 10 minutes. Apply the mixture to your face using a patting motion, and be sure to pat until the honey becomes tacky. Leave it on for about 30 minutes, and rinse with warm water.
I have also had great success with a Strawberry mask that my Grandmother told me about. The trick here is to use extremely ripe Strawberries. Add approximately ½ cup of strawberries and a ¼ cup of cornstarch to the blender, and mix until smooth. Apply the mixture to your face, and be careful to avoid the area around your eyes. Leave it on for 30 minutes, and rinse it off with cool water.
The next facial mask is excellent for blemished skin. Chop a ripened tomato into small pieces, and place it in your blender. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice and some instant oatmeal or rolled oats. Mix until it is all combined. Do not mix for too long, as it will not stick to your face. If it gets too thin, simply add more oatmeal. Apply the mixture, and leave it on for 10 minutes. Scrub it off using a warm, wet cloth.
There are many different ways to care for your skin, and as many different products on the market. In my experience, the most natural treatments
provide the best results. Try to avoid products that have heavy perfumed scents or appear to use poor quality ingredients. These all natural fruit facials have worked wonders for me. I hope you enjoy them.

Long Hair - Tips on How To Keep It Versatile and Ever-Changing

The long hair style is hot, and that is why many women prefer to wear lengthy, free-flowing tresses rather than the popular short styles of the day. But long hair
can also become boring. In fact, boredom is the number one reason why women get tired of their long hair style and choose to try a different, shorter style.
The truth is, though, that there are never-ending options when it comes to styling lengthy tresses. You just have to know when and how to change it up a bit to keep your long hair style looking fresh, stylish and up-to-date. Yes, it may take a little practice in the beginning, but in no time you will be able to quickly turn out exciting new looks with a few simple tricks.

Straight and sleek long hair style
A good ceramic straightening iron such as the Sedu flat iron can help you achieve sleek, silky and shiny tresses in just a few minutes. No matter what texture of long hair you have, even if it is naturally curl and fuzzy, you can change your long hair style in a flash with a flat iron. Imagine being able to straighten your hair in less than 10 minutes.
The trick to achieving sleek long hair is in the tools and products that you use. What you need is a high-quality ceramic iron, a shine product and finishing spray. Simply apply the shine product to your dry long hair and smoothly run the flat iron through your hair from the roots to the tips using about ½" sections. The ceramic iron will infuse moisture and shine into your long hair style leaving you with healthy, shiny locks that will be the envy of everyone you meet. Finish off your long hair style with a little bit of finishing spray, and you're beautifully prepared to face your day.
Textured and curly long hair style
If your long hair already has some curl or wave, you can accomplish this style with very little effort. All you need to do is use a little gel and scrunch your curl into place with a diffused blow dryer. Once you do that, simply spritz your long hair style with an extra hold styling spritz.
If you have been blessed with poker straight tresses, you can achieve the same look with hot rollers or tube rollers. The trick to making this long hair style look natural is in the products that you use and how you use them. Be sure to use a good quality spritz and finishing spray. Use the finishing spray to spray your long hair before and after you roll it, and use the spritz to add shine and finish your style. By applying spritz to your long hair style and gently running your fingers through the curled locks, you can achieve a natural look with a lot of shine.
Updos and long hair style
An easy way to change your long hair style is to wear it up. No, I'm not talking a pony tail here girls. This may take a little creativity, but with a little practice you can have your long hair style swept up into an exotic style that only takes a few seconds to achieve. French twists are always a classic as are bun variations and pulled-through pony tails.
Now that you have a few different ideas on how to change your long hair style, it's time for you to practice. Good luck. And remember that the long hair style never needs to be boring or predictable when you have all of these options.

Tips on How To Choose Large Size Women's Shoes

Maybe you were teased as a child. And, you've politely ignored the references to your feet looking like gunboats. Well, the joke isn't on you anymore. Large size women shoes are widely available like never before. Whether you want a dressy pump or a comfortable athletic trainer, retailers and manufacturers are figuring out that there is an ever-growing market in large size women shoes.
With over 30 percent of all women's shoe sales being size nine and above, there is big money in selling large size women shoes. The fact is women's feet are getting bigger. While women over the age of 35 have an average shoe size of seven and a half, their younger counterparts average a shoe size of eight and a half.

This "growing" demand for women's shoes in sizes nine through fifteen has spawned many new retailers and shoe manufacturers who specialize in larger sizes. Twenty years ago, a woman with big feet had very limited options in shoes. Now, she can choose from a vast array of business, casual, and even golfing shoes.
It is estimated that approximately 85 percent of women buy shoes in the wrong size. Most often, they buy shoes that are too small. Ill-fitting shoes can contribute to a whole host of medical problems including bunions, corns, hammertoes, and calluses. With the larger sizes more commonly available now, women are finding the styles that they want in the sizes that they need. This is a welcome relief for the many women who have bought shoes in a too-small size because there was no other option.
If you are a woman with big, glorious feet, make sure that you have both of your feet sized every time you buy shoes. Take the measurement standing up and sitting down. Ask the salesperson for suggestions on shoe brands that might work with your foot size and shape.
If you are trying to minimize the size of your feet, look for shoes with rounded toes and moderate heels. You may want to stay away from pointy pumps, ballerina flats, and t-straps that can lengthen the appearance of your feet. It is also best to stick to neutral tones or colors that blend well with hose or pants.
Finally, keep in mind that if the average shoe size of women keeps growing, you may find yourself having smaller than average feet. Those jokes about your less than dainty tootsies will certainly be a thing of the past.

Beauty & Healthy Body From Within

With over ten thousand different dietary supplements on the market, how do you know which one to choose? All of these products promise a slim, trim, body that is free of fat, but not all of them actually fulfill that promise. Instead, most of them fall flat when it comes to trimming away that fat. The best way to choose the dietary supplements that will work for you is to understand how the human body absorbs supplements. Health and beauty products all work the same way once they are ingested. As the body breaks down each product, most of these products are destroyed by gastric acids.
Natural Collagen Colvita is different from all the rest of those dietary supplements, since this product actually swells while it is inside of the body. Why does this make a difference? As the Colvita swells, the body will absorb this natural product bit by bit. This is in large contrast to other products that are broken down right away.

Collagen that can be found within the body is a natural vessel for antiseptics. When the same collagen is ingested in the form of a pill, the antiseptics stay intact causing fat within the body to break down. All of this is possible thanks to the extensive testing of Colvita by engineers and specialists. In addition to breaking down fat within the face, skin, and body, Colvita also helps hair grow. These dietary supplements work with your body in order to stimulate the tissue that is responsible for hair growth. The natural ingredients inside of Colvita are the main reason why this product works.
So, what’s inside of Colvita? This dietary supplement contains fish collagen that has been freeze-dried in order to create a liquid form of collagen. Additionally, Colvita contains Fucus Vesiculosus, which is a type of algae that grows along the shoes of the British Isles.
Within each strand of algae there are numerous vitamins and minerals including vitamins B and C, beta-carotene, and numerous other natural substances. Colvita is a health and beauty product that helps to slow the aging process by reducing the amount of fat within the body, but there are other ways that Colvita can help keep your body healthy and youthful.
As we age, the collagen within our bodies begins to break down. This is precisely why skin begins to droop, sag, and lose muscle tone. Colvita helps the skin to hang on to that natural collagen by tightening, firming, and helping skin to gain back its elasticity.
This dietary supplement can also be used as a preventative measure for a number of diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, cataracts, stomach ulcers, various sports injuries, dermatitis, and a number of other illnesses. Thanks to the numerous vitamins that are inside of Colvita, the body will be able to absorb and use all of these vitamins in order to fight numerous illnesses and diseases.
Colvita dietary supplements are full of vitamins and minerals that can help change the way you look and feel. Through the inclusion of natural ingredients such as fish collagen and algae, these dietary supplements work with your body rather than against it.

How Rare Are Diamonds?

When you're out browsing the gold and diamond treasures at your favorite mall's jewelry store, you see oodles of diamonds in hundreds of settings with fabulous variations of color. And of course, you'll see prices from low and affordable to way up there near Donald Trump's price range.
What you won't know is how in the world did those particular diamonds end up in that store in your city? The story of most diamond's journey from mine to jeweler's display would make Raider's of The Lost Ark seem like a bedtime story!

Millions of diamonds are dug out of the earth. However, fewer than one of 10 million are able to make the grade, so to speak. Mining from the earth is the first source we think of when the subject of diamonds is on the table. Literally tons of diamond ore is mined in order to find a ring sized rough "rock" that can stand the tests and processes that result in a true diamond jewel.
Most of the trash from this process ends up on the tip of your hobby drill, or that of a local mason. These stones are not much good for any type of jewelry but can slice through hardened steel like a knife through butter.
While man-made diamonds are pretty, at least at a glance, they too can loose their luster under the pressure of improper methods of manufacturing which results in their transition into the industrial diamond category.
Now on your next trip to the mall, especially if a special day, or date in on your calendar has arrived, be sure to look knowingly at your visual treasure trove of sparkling diamonds. And think about the journey from muck and mire to flash and fire.
True diamonds are a treasure, not just because of their dollar value, but also for the intricacy and rarity of the special varieties that fulfill our dreams. Lovers and others, who lust for the lasting bobble of beauty that only diamonds can represent, will never settle for anything but the earth's bounty. After all, diamonds do last forever.

Free Tips on How to Dress Slimmer!

If you've lost weight but find it difficult to shift those extra pounds learning how to dress slimmer is a great skill to have. I've always been slightly overweight so wearing clothes that flatter my figure and make me look pounds lighter in seconds are a must!
My motto is if it doesn't make me look slimmer than I am, I'm not buying it, wearing it or even letting it into my wardrobe.
Here is a great tip to learn how to dress slimmer and knock off pounds instantly.
Wearing one colour from head to toe, monochrome dressing, makes anyone look taller and slimmer. Dark colours do make you appear slimmer but what if you don't want to look the same all the time? That's why it's best to focus on the vertical line of tones rather than just relying on dark clothing.

This captures the eye's attention vertically rather than horizontally. Many people don't realise that you can also create a vertical line with accessories or a combination of both your clothing and accessories. For example, if you have a patterned dress that you think adds volume to your figure you can slim it down by using accessories as your vertical colour line. First, choose a shade from the dress. Then accessorize from top to bottom in the shade you picked. Start with the earrings, then move on to a necklace (make it a long one!) or hanging scarf. Continue with tights and shoes.
The main focus is to keep the consistency in the vertical colour line. If there's a break in colour it will also break the slimming illusion at that point. Remember that you can wear clothing from the same family of colour and tone rather than trying to find different items of clothing that match exactly.
